What We Collect

• Visiting the site: our web server keeps standard logs of your IP address, the pages you asked for, your browser type and the date.
• Prospectus request: your name and email address, the date, and your IP address.
• Voicemail: if you use the voicemail button on the Contact page, SpeakPipe receives your recording and name, plus your email address if you add it.
• Booking a call: the details you enter in the TuCalendi booking tool on the 15-Minute Chat page.

Why, and Our Legal Basis

We keep server logs to run the site and keep it secure, which is our legitimate interest. We use prospectus details to send what you asked for and to follow up about the college, which is our legitimate interest. We use voicemail and booking details to respond to you and hold the call you asked for.

Who Else Handles It

This site runs on our own server, hosted by Hostinger, with encrypted backups in Google Drive. Prospectus requests are emailed to a college mailbox, with a copy to a Gmail inbox provided by Google. These pages also load fonts from Google, and the Contact and 15-Minute Chat pages load tools from SpeakPipe and TuCalendi, so those companies receive your IP address when you open those pages. Their own privacy notices apply. Some of these providers may handle data outside the UK, under the safeguards UK law requires. We don’t sell your data.

How Long We Keep It

We keep prospectus requests for 1 year, then delete them, or sooner if you ask. Server logs are kept for about 10 days.

Cookies and Local Storage

This site doesn’t set any cookies or use tracking or advertising tools. SpeakPipe and TuCalendi may use cookies if you start a recording or a booking, and their own privacy notices apply.

Your Rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct or delete it, and you can object to how we use it, by emailing colin@alloneplanet.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
